Goldstream Provincial Park 

4 hours from Vancouver, ferry required 


- group camping with picnic shelters, stoves, electricity and water/showers

- an extensive network of trails, totaling 16km

- Goldstream River near the campground that may be used for swimming


Cypress Provincial Park

30 mins from Vancouver 


- Wilderness, backcountry and walk-in camping is allowed at higher elevations

- 2 picnic areas, Quarry picnic and Highview

- Summer and winter hiking and cycling trails 

- The Yew Lake Trail is an interpretive trail with several viewing stops

- Pets on leash allowed


Pacific Rim National Park Reserve 

5 hours from Vancouver, ferry required

- Walk-in, drive-in and group camping available 

- Park visitors with a valid entry pass are authorized to have beach fires

- Hiking is the best way to explore the park with 4 trails to chose from

- Boating, fishing, swimming and surfing at Wickaninnish and Combers Beach

- Geocaching family program available from May to October


Gladstone Provincial Park

- Wilderness, backcountry and walk-in camping (Facilities are limited)

- Campfires are allowed and campfire rings are provided at each campsite

- Paved boat launch available at Texas Creek

- Canoeing, fishing, swimming, water skiing and spa diving on Christina Lake 

- Pets on leash allowed

- Horseback riding is permitted in the backcountry area on designated trails


Kokanee Creek Provincial Park

- Group camping with picnic tables, large fire pit, water taps, grey water pit/showers

- Campfires are allowed and campfire rings are provided at each campsite

- 9.5 km of easy hiking and walking trails within the park

- Viewing platform at the end of Canyon Trail on Kokanee Creek

- Canoeing, fishing, swimming, water skiing and wind surfing on Kootenay lake

- Pets on leash allowed


Cultus Lake Provincial Park

- Group camping with picnic tables and 25 visitor cabins available to reserve

- 5 main trails for you to enjoy and admire the wonders of nature

- Double paved boat launching ramps located at Maple Bay and Jade Bay

- Maintained horseback ridding trail, also used by hikers and cyclists

- Canoeing, fishing, swimming and water skiing on Entrance and Maple Bay

- Pets on leash allowed


Mount Robson Provincial Park

- Spelunking/caving opportunities (BC Parks strongly advises that caving gear be used) 

- Sock climbing at Mount Robson Peak

Alice Lake Provincial Park

Porteau Cove Provincial Park

Mount Seymour Provincial Park

- Campfires are only permitted at the group campsite

Sasquatch Provincial Park

Klahanie Campground

Loveland Bay Provincial Park

4.5 Hours from Vancouver 


- Camping Fees: $22 per party per night, All fees are cash only.

- Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash at all times. 

- The park offers pit toilets and a hand-pump for water. 

- There are no electrical, water, or sewer hookups for RVs. The maximum RV length is 32 feet


Similkameen Falls Campground

- Pricing varies by site type and season. The campground offers private riverfront campsites and     upgraded cabins. 

 - The campground provides rustic outhouses and basic water points. There are no flush toilets        or showers, maintaining a low-impact, backcountry vibe. 

- RVs and trailers are allowed, with ample parking and flat, accessible grounds. 


Otter Lake Provincial Park

3.5 Hours from Vancouver 


- Campsites are available for approximately $23 per night.

- Pets are welcome throughout the campground, but must be leashed at all times. 

- The campground offers pit toilets and basic water access, but no showers. 

- Firewood is available for purchase, and the park operates on a cash-only basis. 


Emerald Bay Campground

5 hours from Vancouver (Green Lake)


- Campsites are available for approximately $18–$23 per night, depending on the site.

- The campground offers pit toilets, basic water taps, and garbage disposal.

- RVs and trailers are allowed, with gravel pads and space for units up to 32 feet.
