Burnaby Halloween Festival returns this October with 17+ events happening across the city, from family-friendly fun and cultural celebrations to comedy, haunted experiences and after-dark thrills. Highlights include MetroCon, Haunted Village, Monster Dash 5K, Day of the Dead, Jokers Canada and more. Almost half of this year’s events are free or donation-based, making it easy to build your Halloween plans throughout the month.

Pick your nightmare at EXIT Burnaby, where three escape rooms have been completely redesigned with new Halloween stories, puzzles, darkness and sudden effects. A fourth scare-free room offers all-ages mystery fun, while the haunted experiences are recommended for guests ages 13 or 16 and up.

The Amazing Brentwood is stretching spooky season across nearly the entire month with Halloween décor, a Haunted Hunt scavenger adventure, outdoor movies, seasonal storytelling and trick-or-treating. The lineup also includes the Day of the Dead Festival, a Halloween farmers’ market and plenty of family-friendly fun.
